Summertime!

In honor of the beginning of summer here in southern California (what else would you call three days straight of almost 100-degree weather?) check out my new favorite steak recipe. I didn't try the potato cakes that accompany it, but the steak and the toppings were wonderful. The soy sauce blends nicely with the balsamic vinegar. I actually used raspberry balsamic vinegar when I made it, and the sweetness of it added a nice undertone.
